Dan is the Immediate Past President of Master Builders Australia. He joined the National Board in 2003 and has previously served as Deputy President and Chair of the Training Advisory Committee.

He is a former President of the Master Builders Western Australia (2003 – 2005) and is a current member of the Master Builders Western Australia’s Council of Management.

​Dan is Head of the Perkins Group and is Managing Director of Perkins Builders, a commercial construction company which over 50 years of operation has built a reputation for high-quality construction on a diverse range of projects.  Dan is also Managing Director of Commercial Aquatics Australia which specialises in the design and construction of aquatic facilities nationwide and Director of Perkins Total Project Delivery (TPD), a commercial construction company offering sophisticated design and project management skills on unique projects.
